Enhancing Student Engagement and Success through Blended Learning: A Case Study of Victoria University's Use of H5P in Library Instruction

Study conducted by librarians at Victoria University, who utilized the open-source e-authoring tool H5P to enhance library instructional videos and create interactive learning objects to support blended learning. These resources engage students with the content and allow for self-assessment and immediate feedback. The learning objects are reusable and shared with all VU staff, saving time and resources. The librarians’ experience with H5P has been positive and they plan to continue using it for the university’s First Year Model. The focus on blended learning at VU aims to improve student engagement and success while providing flexibility in accessing course content.
